Classification Folders Letter Size
There are 6 different qualites and, therefore, 6 different prices of classification folders:
1. The simple end tab folder with a divider or two. 11 pt or 14 point, manila or colored folder. 18 colors. No expansion.
2. 14 point manila or colored folder. Reinforced top and end tab, With 'W" bottom expansion and dividers.
3. 18 point folder with tyvek expansion and dividers (7 colors)
4. Type I Genuine Pressboard 20 point, with tyvek expansion and dividers (4 colors). This is a really classy folder. It has a pearlized finish to the paper. The pressboard is very dense (the same amount of paper as in the 25 point pressboard below except compressed with more pressure to create a thinner cover). As durable or more durable than the 25 point folders below. Also more expensive.
5. Type II Pressboard. 25 point. With 17 point kraft dividers, Tyvek expansion, 2 colors (grey and redrope only), 1-1/2" to 2-1/4" expansion, (this is the most commonly purchased pressboard folder)
6. Type III "Valtrex" Pressboard folders. Still 25 point, same quality as Type II above but is available in many colors, Tyvek expansion, 17 pt kraft dividers. (5 colors)
LIKE COLOR? The colors shown on this page are the "In Stock For Immediate Shipment" colors. We have many, many colors available for Custom Made Classification Folders. The only Problem is the price depends on the quantity ordered. If you need a lot and are picky about the color call Ken Jones at 800-426-2782.
Which classification folder do you need? It depends upon your usage. Most people over-order and buy a much more expensive classification folder than they really need. If you can afford to do this, fine with us. You might, however, consider a less expensive folder that meets 80-90% of your needs and only purchase the more expensive folders for the other 10-20%.
